Was a very good choice for our overnight stop on a two day motorcycling trip. Incredible value for money; rooms were clean and comfortable a d staff very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed on the evening I stayed but hotel staff were happy for us to get takeaways and bring into the bar to eat instead. Breakfast and evening meals priced very competitively for a hotel, will look forward to trying the food next time I stay. The hotel was nicely decorated and had a modern, comfortable feel about it. It was a clean and comfortable twin room, which was spacious and had a nice modern bathroom. The single was fine, situated at the front but no noise issues. Really comfy bed. The duvet was a bit thin but so be it. The ensuite was fine. It is a bit frayed at the edges and of course it's budget but a great sleep, comfortable chair, large TV, decent WiFi and freshly cooked breakfast in the morning. The hotel rooms were fairly basic and the one I was given was really hot and stuffy when I arrived in the evening as the sun was just setting. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and gave me a fan, and also found a secure place to store my bicycle overnight. Thin walls though, could hear a loud TV next door later that night, so I had to put earplugs in and switch beds to be away from the wall. Just a note if you’re looking for a quiet, restful night, it may not always be possible, depending on how busy it is. I visited with my family, including a newborn, and they helped with everything that they could, travel cott, portable heater, etc. Comes with a parking place at the back of the hotel. The per night tariff is great for value. Breakfast and dinner are not inclusive, but you can always opt for it during your stay with a standard price.
