All we ask is that you mention this at the time of booking so that we can make sure you are allocated a room that’s suitable for your pet.

Our relaxing Ben Mhor Bar is where we serve bar food and beverages and dogs are welcome to chill here by the fire and lap up all the attention that they duly deserve.

Can you recommend some dog friendly walks nearby?

One of the best dog-friendly walks around Grantown on Spey is a 12 km loop that takes in Anagach Woods and the River Spey. This walk is ideal as it takes approx. 3 hours to complete and dogs can be left off the lead at certain parts along the route. Feedback suggests that your dog will be exhilarated during the walk and tired afterwards, so a win win for dog and owner. A tired dog is a happy dog!

For a slightly less challenging route, look at the Grantown Glen Beg Circular Walk, a 9 km trail that takes approx. 2 hours and 20 minutes to complete.

Cairngorms National Park

One of the top visited destinations for dog owners, it is full of glorious walks thanks to Scotland’s ‘free to roam’ laws, with the condition that you can always keep the dog under control.

Doggie Day Care

There may be a day or two during your stay that you might want to enjoy some visitor attractions or participate in activities that are not dog friendly. There is a kennel 2 miles away, please contact Birchmoor Cattery and Kennels at prior to your stay. Should your pet become unwell at any stage, the local vet is only a minute’s walk away.
